When I came to Sevilla, I was looking for a Spanish school and found that SevillaHabla had great ratings, so I decided to stop by. I was warmly welcomed by Mercedes from the administrative team. It was the last days of December. She was so kind to invite me to the school’s language exchange and the Christmas potluck (I hadn’t even officially registered yet). At these events, I saw how friendly and open everyone was — people laughing, chatting, and connecting. It was hard to tell who was a teacher and who was a student, which I loved. In January, I started my classes. One of my main teachers was Beli, and I had the pleasure of learning from her in most of my classes. She is truly top-level — super knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. I really appreciated her style and the energy she brought to every lesson. Later on, I met Pablo and the rest of the amazing admin team — they helped me with everything, including extending my visa, and were always available and supportive. What I also liked about SevillaHabla is that it's not just about grammar and textbooks. They offer extra programs like cultural classes taught by different amazing teachers (I especially enjoyed José Luis’s Spanish literature classes, where he talked about Lorca, Bécquer, and others), language exchange events, walking tours of the city, tapas tours (where you get to know authentic local bars and restaurants), and more. Last thing I liked about this school is the mix of people. Every week, new students from around the world join, and some others finish and leave — it’s like traveling the world without leaving the classroom. You meet people from all over, each with their own story, and it brings a really special, dynamic vibe to the experience. The professors are competent and create a good and fun learning environment (especially Paula and Ana Beatriz)! It is a friendly environment, with a thoughtful staff and skillful teachers! They are concerned about all the students' needs and managed to balance the academic aspect of the language and the local/cultural one, which makes classes way more dynamic! Besides, they've been quite helpful about the visa process and renewals (and all the paperwork, etc.).
